Safety and Health are everyday concerns with Local 5429 both with its Officers and Members; Please work safe and report any unsafe conditions to a Safety Committee member ,steward, or your supervisor.

New safety shoe policy is in effect the Company will pay up to $100.00 towards a pair of steel toe shoes from Blue Collar Safety if you work in any of the positions that are on the safety shoe list. Please see the list on the bulletin board or ask your steward.


Compensation Notice:
If you are injured at work report it to your supervisor and the company nurse. Don’t wait to see if the pain goes away or if you feel better tomorrow .

Also Make sure you see a Compensation Agent so he can Get You to fill out a C-3 Form. This is very important if your claim goes to court.
